San Saba 4-H
San Saba County currently has one 4-H group available that is open to every child in San Saba County.
4-H is a club for kids and teens ages 5-18, and it’s BIG! It’s the largest youth development program in Texas with more than 550,000 youth each year. No matter where you live or what you like to do, 4-H has something that lets you be a better you!
You may think 4-H is only for your friends with animals, but it’s so much more! You can do activities like shooting sports, food science, healthy living, robotics, fashion, and photography.
Our 4-H is open to children in 3rd grade (or 8 years old) to 12th grade! We also offer “Clover kids” for those who are in second grade. Clover kids are free and although they can’t participate in everything like competitions or Shooting Sports, they can participate in meetings and certain events and workshops!
Our 4-H club meets every third Tuesday of the month at the San Saba Civic Center. We typically meet at 5:30 pm and our meeting lasts an hour.
To sign your child up please contact our office at 325-372-5416 or kailey.miller@ag.tamu.edu .
4-H FCH Project Areas
Every 4-H member must have at least one project they are working on during the 4-H year. For many members, it’s hard to figure out what you can or want to do so we have some handouts that could help you figure it out.
